Synthetic wrinkle fillers:

This filler consists of substances prepared in the lab that are not found naturally in the skin. These fillers include Sculptra, radiesse and silicone. These fillers have similar side effects as a hyaluronic acid wrinkle filler. However, it has a long-lasting effect.

Autologous wrinkle fillers:

In this type of filler, fat is removed from areas such as thighs, buttocks and stomach. The fat is then injected into the face or any other targeted body part and the effect of this filler lasts from 12 to 18 months. This therapy is more time consuming and costly than other procedures.

Based on the requirement of the patient, the cosmetologist selects a specific type of filler and injects it to the targeted area. Several dermal fillers available in the market for personal use.
